NLISN Online Free Event – I, the mask: navigating work post-disclosure

NLISN are hosting a free online event on Tuesday 9th June, 10–11am UK time, exploring what it really means to navigate work after disclosing a disability.

Elizabeth Cardoso Fernandes will be discussing the needs and effects of masking and disability disclosure, drawing on her personal experience and research across two Canadian university libraries. She'll explore the difference between reactive and proactive disclosure, the impact it has on community and relationships, and how colleagues, friends and family respond when boundaries shift.

The event is free to attend, though you'll need to register by heading to their site below to receive the link. A donation option is also available for those who'd like to support NLISN's wider work.
