Neurodivergence Focus Group

Bringing Neurodivergent Voices Together

This group is shaped by neurodivergent perspectives and focused on connection, shared understanding, and promoting neuro-inclusive practices.

Our Story

About the Group

The Neurodivergence Focus Group is an NADSN subgroup led by and for neurodivergent staff and students in academia. We recognise that there is no single way to think, learn, or work, and believe that academic environments should reflect that. The group creates space to:

  • Share lived experiences of neurodivergence in academic environments

  • Build connection and peer support

  • Promote neuro-inclusive practices across institutions

  • Contribute to wider conversations around accessibility and inclusion
